Predict the future by Planting trees

Trees do so much more than beautify our surroundings. They release oxygen, filter harmful gases like carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide, protect us from UV rays, prevent soil erosion, maintain ecological balance, and combat global warming.

At Himansh.Tech, we are dedicated to creating a sustainable future through tree planting and environmental awareness. By joining us, you’re not just planting a tree. You’re contributing to a healthier, greener planet and empowering communities to take action for a better tomorrow.

The Best Time to Plant

The ideal time to plant trees is during their dormant seasons. Autumn (after leaves fall) and early spring (before buds appear). These cooler periods give young trees the chance to establish roots before facing the challenges of spring rains and summer heat.

In regions with year-round growing seasons, such as tropical and subtropical climates, planting can happen anytime as long as there’s sufficient water. Healthy balled-and-burlapped or container trees can also be planted throughout the growing season, provided they receive proper aftercare.

Planting trees can sometimes pose challenges, particularly when dealing with balled-and-burlapped trees that lose part of their root systems during nursery excavation. This loss can lead to "transplant shock," a condition that slows growth and reduces vitality. Even container-grown trees may face similar issues.

However, with proper site preparation, gentle handling to protect the roots, and consistent aftercare, these challenges can be minimized, allowing your tree to recover quickly and grow strong in its new environment.

To help your tree thrive, ensure the trunk flare is visible and dig a wide, shallow hole for planting. Remove any wrappings and trim circular roots if needed. Place the tree at the correct depth, keeping most roots near the surface, and ensure it’s straight before gently backfilling the hole. Water while backfilling to remove air pockets but avoid fertilizing immediately.

Stake only if necessary, and remove stakes after the first year. Add a 2–3 inch layer of mulch around the base, keeping it slightly away from the trunk. Water weekly or more often in hot conditions, tapering off as fall approaches. With proper care, your tree will grow strong and healthy.
